WIRE coming soon

Christmas is coming, still presents need to be bought, the tree has to be decorated and the meal is to be prepared. And the New Year is coming soon, another WIRE-year.
 

From 4 to 8 April 2016 KIESELSTEIN a German producer of wire drawing machines will participate in the most important show in the wire industry. At its new booth (D22 in hall 10) KIESELSTEIN will present its range of products and services to the visitors. The presentation will focus on wire shaving, a technology with which KIESELSTEIN is leading in the world market, but will also address issues such as automatization, modernization and IT-based maintenance.

In the area of wire shaving the company gathered further experience during numerous projects as well as with its extensive R+D activities in its in-house testing centre. Especially new materials such as titanium, magnesium or memory alloys that become more important also in the wire industry were examined. This strengthens the position of KIESELSTEIN as a competent partner for wire producers that intend to go into the shaving of such materials.

Besides the technologies of wire production the company addresses issues such as the increase of efficiency of wire production. Still automatization is an important topic, especially for big diameter or high-tensile wire. The automatization of the drawing-in process eases the work of the operator considerably. 

 

In addition, for higher efficiency KIESELSTEIN developed in cooperation with an internationally operating company in the wire industry a new soap supply system which will be presented at the booth in Düsseldorf.
 

For increasing the availability of the plant, IT-based maintenance becomes more important. Demands for spare parts can be identified correctly, maintenance measures can be planned and down-time can be avoided. A team of specialists in IT, programmable control and machine engineering works on this at KIESELSTEIN in order to provide tailor-made solutions to the customers.
