KIESELSTEIN 10 years in wire machine market

In 2012 KIESELSTEIN Group from Chemnitz/Germany celebrates its 10th anniversary.
Founded in 2002 by the owner Dr. Stephan Kieselstein and starting business in his private garage, KIESELSTEIN entered the market as supplier of spare parts for wire drawing machines of former brands such as Herborn+Breitenbach, SKET Drahtziehmaschinenwerk Grüna and many more. KIESELSTEIN is the official successor of Herborn+Breitenbach and is in possession of nearly the complete technical documentation of all wire drawing machines ever produced under this label. And if not in the documents, knowledge comes from Dr. Kieselstein himself who worked as Head of Engineering at Herborn+Breitenbach.
Based on this knowledge and experience KIESELSTEIN started building up its own program of wire drawing equipment. Not even one year after the foundation of KIESELSTEIN, the first wire drawing machine was delivered under this new brand name. From that day, wire producers from all over the world knew KIESELSTEIN as a producer of modern and high-quality wire drawing equipment made in Germany.
By listening carefully to their customers and identifying their technological questions and problems, KIESELSTEIN started focussing on the technology of wire draw-peeling. In its in-house R+D center with its own wire draw-peeling plant KIESELSTEIN constantly improves the technological process of wire draw-peeling, works on the optimisation of tool geometry and tool material and studies the influence of various parameters on the results reached. With this constant R+D work KIESELSTEIN is always one step ahead of its competitors in the area of wire draw-peeling.
